A Little Canadian Brand With A Lot Of Heart

Hi, I’m Francis. My husband James and I started Moon Fruit here in Canada because we wanted to make something of our own, and kids’ jammies felt like the sweetest place to begin.

We love design, we love cute prints, and we’re deep in the messy, funny, exhausting, beautiful stage of raising young kids. So yes, our kids wear the samples, give very honest opinions, and end up on the website a lot.

Moon Fruit is family-run because it really is our family in it.

The Prints

Drawn By Hand, Made To Feel Different

The prints are where my heart really lives.

From the beginning, we’ve always cared about using artwork the right way. We’ve never used AI-generated prints, copied characters, or anything that felt like it belonged to someone else.

But after three years of Moon Fruit, I wanted the prints to feel even more us. So now they’re hand drawn and hand coloured from scratch.

It’s more fun, more personal, and honestly, so much better than making jammies that look like everything else out there.

Moon Fruit?

It Started With A Bedtime Story

The name Moon Fruit came from a bedtime story we made up for our daughter.

In the story, she travelled to the dark side of the moon to find rare moon fruit that could help little kittens with grumbly tummies.

It made no sense in the best way, which is usually how the best kid stories work. The name stuck because it felt like us: a little odd, a little sweet, and full of imagination.

The Material

Soft Enough To Become Your Favourite Pair

Of course, the jammies still have to feel amazing.

Ours are made with Dreamweave™ bamboo, a soft, stretchy, breathable fabric made for bedtime, slow mornings, couch cuddles, snack crumbs, story time, and everything else kids somehow do in pajamas.

The prints are what make each pair fun, but the fabric is what makes them the pair your kid keeps reaching for.
